Warranty
3 years. In writing.
Every job we paint comes with a written 3-year workmanship warranty. If paint we applied peels, flakes or blisters because of our work, we come back and fix it.

Paint & surfaces
How long paint lasts
Our warranty covers our work. How long a finish looks fresh depends on the surface, the exposure and how it’s used. These are typical ranges with good prep.
| Surface | Typical lifespan | Wears fastest |
|---|---|---|
| Interior walls | Many years | Hallways, stairwells and kids’ rooms |
| Trim & doors | Several years | Door edges, baseboards and railings |
| Kitchen cabinets | About 8–10 years | Doors near the sink and dishwasher |
| Exterior wood | About 5–8 years | South and west walls, lower boards |
| Vinyl, aluminum & fibre cement | Often longer than wood | Sunny walls |
| Limewash on brick | Refreshed every several years | Wears gradually by design |

Warranty FAQ
Good to know
A little care keeps paint looking good for longer. You’ll get labelled leftover paint and care notes at handover.
When does the warranty start?
On the day of your final walkthrough, when we finish the touch-ups and hand over your written warranty.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell my home?
Yes. The remaining workmanship warranty transfers to the new owner.
How should I clean freshly painted walls?
Wait a few weeks for the paint to cure, then use a soft sponge with warm water and a little dish soap. Avoid abrasive pads and melamine sponges, which can leave shiny or dull spots.
How should I store touch-up paint?
Sealed, labelled and indoors, away from frost. Paint stored in an unheated garage through an Ottawa winter can freeze and be ruined.
