Our story
Built on referrals, one room at a time.
Ryan’s started the way most good trade companies do: with people who cared more about the work than the sales pitch. Homeowners saw the finished rooms, asked who did them, and the calls kept coming.
Today Ryan’s Group covers renovations, decks, drywall, painting, fencing and custom homes, each run as its own focused company. Ryan’s Painting handles interior and exterior painting, kitchen cabinets, drywall repairs, commercial spaces and masonry.
What hasn’t changed: the quote you sign lists the prep, the paint and the number of coats, and the crew that paints your home is the one that comes back if anything isn’t right.
Why Ryan's
Prepped properly. Painted to last.
Most paint jobs that fail, fail in the prep. We write the prep into the quote, use paint worth putting on the wall and leave the house cleaner than we found it.
-
Prep on the quote
Patching, sanding, priming and caulking listed line by line, with the paint brand, line, sheen and number of coats. You can compare it fairly.
-
Two coats of premium paint
Premium lines from major paint makers, two full coats as standard, and the right primer wherever the surface needs one.
-
A clean, protected house
Furniture moved and covered, floors protected, the work area tidied every day and leftover paint labelled for touch-ups.
-
Warranty in writing
A written 3-year workmanship warranty on every job. If paint we applied peels or flakes because of our work, we come back and fix it.
How we work
The Ryan’s standard
- Straight answers. If the ceilings are fine for a few more years, or the cabinets aren’t worth painting, we’ll say so.
- Prep in writing. Repairs, primer, paint line and coats on every quote, and no price changes without your approval.
- Protected homes. Floors covered, furniture wrapped and the work area tidied at the end of every day.
- The right product. Breathable coatings on masonry, enamels on cabinets, and paint rated for Ottawa winters outside.
- We pick up the phone. Call or text and you’ll reach someone who knows your job.
